In my line of work I come across all types of websites for businesses.  Being that this is the year 2010 one could assume that most businesses see the value in how an effective website can help their business.  But you would assume wrong in a lot of cases.  Without standing on my soapbox for a long period of time, I think this article does a good job of showing some older websites and the thing to notice is how sadly a lot of websites even today still reflect this type of look!
