*UPDATED* 5/20/09 – I actually had a friend take a look at the PowerBook before I junked it and he actually got it to boot!  So I ended up giving it to a buddy of mine who was in need.  Spreading the Apple love

So last week my Powerbook chimed and breathed it’s last. So what does a guy like me do when your laptop of almost 5 years gives up the ghost? Start to look around for a new one of course! So after a few conversations with my business manager (wife) we decided on the same exact type of model as the powerbook was except, picked from Apple’s newest line of laptops.

I settled on the Macbook Pro 15.4 inch and let me tell you this thing is gorgeous! Very satisfied so far. Sad to admit it trumps my iMac desktop in both my office and my home!
